Happy Valentines Day!

Sydney is so fun right now! She loves to run and be outside! She is constantly yelling - MA - and wanting me to hold her so she can watch whatever I'm doing. She is my little buddy! Hopefully you can see from the pictures just how cute and fun she is!

I love this face! I can't believe my baby is 1!
We started off by a walk down the freezing cold pier! Sydney loved every minute of it! We then had a super yummy breakfast at Ruby's

After breakfast and nap time we headed to Disneyland! Since it was a cold/rainy day there weren't a lot of people there. We had so much fun and got to do so many fun things. Would I ever wait in line to take a picture with Chip - NO - but when nobody is in line you do it! We also saw Buzz (who was taller than Jeff - what the??)

This girl partied hard! There is nothing cuter than when she is trying to stay awake and rally only to fall asleep as soon she gets in the car! I really can't believe how fast time flies by. I feel like it was just yesterday I was holding this sweet new baby in my arms. She really is the most fun girl in the whole world. I love her more than anything!

It's a Privilege

I have always said that wearing a bikini is a privilege - it's not a right! You don't have the right to wear a bikini just because you can - you need to earn that right by having a bikini body! Having said that when you have a baby bikini body like Sydney then you must work the scandalise Roxy bikini! :) My friend Allison bought this for her when we found out we were having a girl. I died how small it was when I opened it, but I for sure died laughing when trying to get it on Sydney! First - it's a size 2T - WHAT!?!?! Second - we could barely get her thighs through the bottoms. Third - there is NO WAY we were getting them over a diaper! They are so tiny but she was for sure so stinking cute! I love the butt crack shots! She really has the yummiest little body!

Cool Fairy Princess

Sydney went to her very 1st Fairy Princess party for her good friend Ruby Lombardi. It was so much fun and a good excuse to get her dressed up. I didn't take any pictures at the actual party but she loved rocking her wings all day. I love that she will wear her sunglasses! I think she is the coolest!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

This was quick photo shoot we did last night! Hopefully more to come! I saw this swimsuit and I decided I had to have it! Sydney is still struggling with a lingering cold and pink eye, but that didn't stop her from turning it on for the camera! I love this little girl more than words can express! And grateful that she will let me do all these photo shoots with her!

4th of July is my 2nd favorite holiday! I love this day and everything it stands for. I am beyond grateful for those who fought for our Independence and those who continue to fight to keep us safe. We are very blessed!

I love little fit hats! They are so cute! I can't wait for Sydney to actually wear them! I couldn't resist this moment! How cute is my baby in her bumbo???

Nothing better than a sleeping baby! I could stare at her all day! As you can see we swaddle her really good at bedtime and by morning she is out! Sometimes if she can't work her way out of it she will cry and then I will come and unwrap her and she will sleep 2 more hours.

3 Months

Sydney is 3 months and is so much fun to be around! Here are a couple of things she is doing at 3 months:

Sucks on her fist - I always tell people she is working on her party trick! She really can almost get her whole fist in her mouth
She likes to try to grab and hold on to her tongue
She gives the most wet drooly open mouth kisses
She has the cutest giggle that almost starts out as a grunt and then turns to laughter. Hearing her giggle and laugh brings me complete delight!
She wakes up happy! I will be working on my computer with the monitor by me and I will just hear sighs and talking. When I walk into her room she is just laying in her crib looking around. And of course gives me the biggest cutest grin in the whole world! Best part of the day!
She is an incredible sleeper! This is not a typo - she sleeps 9-11 hours at night! I just wish I was able to go to bed the same time and wake up at the same time! I love her!
She LOVES bath time! She will kick and splash like crazy! I think bath time makes her so tired at night which is why we do every night around 9!
She loves being naked! If she starts to cry and I can't figure out why I just start to undress her! She loves being free from those clothes! Summer time will be fun!
She loves being outside! She is very aware when her environment has changed and loves the wind in her face! We will go for walks and she loves looking at the trees. I know she can't see the ocean waves yet, but I know that is her favorite thing! She loves being down at the beach!

Bath Time Fun!

One of my favorite nighttime routines is bath time with Sydney! She absolutely loves the water and is so stinking cute in the bath! I am a little sad that she is quickly outgrowing her whale bathtub! She is so fun and plays so good in the bath that I swear it makes her tired and gets her ready for a good nights sleep!

For new years I partied it up just me and Sydney! Jeff was super sick and I was doing everything I could to keep Sydney away from her sick daddy! Syd and I went and got some Pei Wei together and then we came home and did bath time and hung out. My back is starting to hurt from playing with this cute big baby! But Sydney went to bed about 10 pm and so did I!

I hope that 2010 brings everyone good health and happiness!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Sydney went and saw the real Santa at Fashion Island! My family has been going since we were kids so it's only right that Sydney see him too! She slept on his lap and was such a good girl!

Sydney gave us the gift of sleep for Christmas! She slept 9 hours and so did we! It was amazing! Once she woke up we all got in bed together and opened presents! Her grandma Jensen made her the cute doll she is holding. It really was the best morning ever. I will never forget our first Christmas with Sydney!

On Christmas Eve Santa came to the house! We dressed little Sydney as Santa's Reindeer! She was so stinking cute! We went for a walk around the neighborhood and she stayed nice and warm. I really can't get enough of this little face!

Sydney and her cousin Stella got matching jammies and were so cute!

Christmas time really is the most wonderful time of the year. I love everything about it. It was so fun having Sydney this year and the new excitement it brought to our lives. Every morning we got up and read a Christmas story and scripture together. Although I know she will never remember those moments it brought joy to my heart in ways I didn't know possible!

The Grinch!

We got away for the night with some friends before the holidays to see The Grinch at the Pantages in Hollywood. It was so much and the play was really good! And it's always so fun to go out with our fun friends. Afterwards Ruben introduced us to King Taco in LA. You know you are not in a good area of LA when the security guards at the taco stand actually carry guns! :) It was so fun!

Sydney had her 2 Month doctors appointment! I was warned about the shot situation but it still broke my heart. Mom and Baby are recovering successfully! :) Here are her 2 month stats:

Grandma and Grandpa Jensen came down to see little Sydney last week and it was so fun having them! I had no idea how much I really needed help! Jeff's mom, Lee, saved me and it was so fun to have someone to hang out with all day! She was the best! After I was done with the 3 AM feeding she would come take Sydney and soothe her while I went to bed. It is so amazing how much better sleep you can get when you know your baby is in good hands! I wouldn't have survived that week without her!

BYU Graduation

It is weird when your baby sister graduates from college. Maybe it's weird because she is class of 09 and I was class of 01? But it was so fun to be back at "the BYU" and get to celebrate graduation. Afterwards we stayed in a cabin in Park City where it snowed all weekend. It was awesome! All of us CA people loved it, but my sister did not find it amusing. Can't say I blame anyone in UT for being sick of winter weather. But it was so fun to be around family! Thanks Ryan and Amanda for getting the cabin - it was a highlight and we are ready to come up again! :)

A much long awaited post, but Jeff and I are very excited to officially announce that we are expecting a baby in October! It has been a long and exhausting road to get here, but we are thrilled! Last night we went to the midnight showing of Twilight! It was so much fun! I seriously don't think you can beat a midnight opening with all the super fans! We played cards, took turns shopping, looked at twilight mags, and just basically hung out. They let us into the movie theater a little over 2 hours before the movie started which was awesome! Everyone was talking and hanging out and doing the wave and cheering for Edward. It was totally out of control! There were multiple count downs and lots of the slow clap that gets fast. But for sure the best was the high pitch shrill of all the girls screaming when the movie started and when they saw Edward. It was unbelievable! But it was also unbelievably fun!

The Count Down Begins- 1 Large Cup of Yo Yo Yummy

And so the count down begins.....normally count downs are supposed to be fun, but not this one! I knew my 20+10 birthday was coming up soon, but I didn't realize it until my mom came over tonight singing "On the first last night of being 29" and so the count down begins with the 12 days until my birthday! It really is so super cute, but I really almost shed a tear as soon as she started singing. Too many emotions! But she did bring a gift certificate to Yo Yo Yummy as my cousin Amanda likes to call it. That place is the best and I have a feeling I'm going to need a lot of that amazing yogurt to get me through all of this!

BYU-Mountain West Champs!

On Saturday Allison and I made a day trip to Vegas to watch BYU vs. University of Utah for the Mountain West Conference Championship. As you can see from the above pictures - BYU WON! Now they go on to the NCAA tournament at BYU so hopefully the home field advantage will be in there favor!

For those of you who know me know that I do not get involved with anything political. This is the first time that I have truly felt passionate about voting and getting out there and educating people what Prop 8 really is about. It is about protecting marriage, protecting freedom of religion, and protecting children's innocence. It has nothing to do with discrimination or intolerance.
For those of you who do not live in CA you might be surprised to know how heated of a topic this is. Cars have been keyed, signs ripped down, and even one of our friends was practically assaulted when she saw someone taking down Yes on 8 signs and asked for them back. We have knocked on doors, made phone calls, and stood out on PCH to try to get people to vote yes. BIG THANKS to Dawn and Brian for throwing our 1st Annual Haunted House decorating contest! It was so much fun to have all our friends together and even more exciting that the Lombardi's new house was able to accommodate everyone and some! We did potluck style with soups, breads, and desserts and then everyone was to bring all the stuff they wanted for decorating. I saw candy last night that I didn't even know existed before! It was so fun and I'm so excited that we have started a new Halloween tradition!!!

On Saturday we went with a group of friends to an Apple Orchard where you get to pick apples off of the trees and press your own apple juice. It was so much fun! Mainly because it actually was a little bit cold and actually felt a bit like fall! Walking through all the many different types of apple trees and pumpkin patches was a treat, but the real fun came when we had the girls vs. boys apple press. As you can see the girls won and I'm not going to lie - the kids did the majority of the cranking. It always feels good to win! But really it was just super fun to be with fun friends!

A big group of us went to see Neil Diamond last night at the Hollywood Bowl! It was so much fun and Neil did not disappoint! He sang some of his new stuff but for sure rocked out to the classics - Forever in Blue Jeans - my favorite!!! Big thanks to Amber and Melanie for putting this together! It was such a great concert! The Hollywood Bowl is so much fun - if you haven't been you should go! Can't wait until the next concert!!!

Reliving the Glory Days!

Umm.. Yeah that's right - that's Robert Redford!
YOU KNOW WHY! We watched "What Happens in Vegas" and we were dying over the end scene it the credits! This is Allison waiting up for Amanda to come home from "hanging out" with a boy. Let's just say - Allison and I are getting older and we were not able to stay awake - so sad!

We didn't even plan it, but Swiss Days was going on! My mom and I went and looked at all the fun stuff! Luckily we flew to Utah so we were limited on what we could buy. We also made sure that we stopped in Heber to get milkshakes at Granny's!
What is reliving the glory days without going to a BYU football game! SO FUN! Here we are having the time of our lives! We had awesome seats and yes that is a picture of Allison and I with Cosmo! We were both so embarassed as we waited in line with a bunch of 4 year olds, but go big or go home! You can tell by my red skin that it was SOOO HOT! We were dying! Also I feel like I should add that the shirt I'm wearing is intended to be blousy - I feel I should bring that up since I look like a heffer!

The entourage cheering on Amanda at her soccer game! We were able to see two games and they won both of them! So fun! Pretty much my sisters a rock star! I love watching her play!

S0 needless to say the trip was amazing! A big thanks to Amanda for letting us live through her once again! Allison and I totally crashed at her place at Belmont for the weekend! It was so much fun listening to her and roommates talk and to get to meet the boys that came around. I learned that I am much older than I would sometimes like to give into, but go to BYU for a weekend and you walk away with a whole new vocabulary. It's amazing! I also forgot to mention that we went the Boys to Men concert in Orem while we were there! Seriously - Utah is so much fun to visit! Good times had with Mom, Allison, Amanda, and Whitney!

Pumpkin Patch!

How many guys does it take to carry the great pumpkin???
For those of you who might wonder why I normally have a large pumpkin on our patio for the majority of the year might like to know that every year my dad grows a huge pumpkin patch with tons of variety pumpkins! Each year we have a big picking and we all claim which one we get - it's quite the event. But where in Southern CA do you get to go pick your pumpkin and where can you find 200+ pound pumpkins. No joke the picture above it took 6 guys to move and load that pumpkin. So here is to an early Happy Halloween! I can't wait for it to be fall! I'm ready for it not to be so hot!

We've Moved

I wish this post was something a little bit more exciting like we bought the house of our dreams, but instead it is to let you all know that we now have an awesome 3 bedroom apartment! It's still in our same apartment complex it's just bigger and so much nicer. It's been almost two weeks since we officially moved and we are still trying to get organized. But not to worry - a foos ball table has been purchased for the third bedroom and I'm pretty sure we will also be getting an air hockey table. It will be fun having the extra space and the game room! We will have to have a game event challenge soon!

Call Of Duty Anyone???

Jeff got a projector for his birthday and we have been having so much fun with it! The last two weeks we have done movies out in the courtyard area of our apartment complex. One of our neighbors asked if we were going to do it every Friday during the summer! I was cracking up! But last night Jeff and the boys set up Call of Duty and it was so much fun. They played with four guys and each guys screen was huge with the projector screen. Emily Curfew and I played around with our cameras while they played and finally they got mad saying the flash was distracting them - umm...you're not really in battle. :) But it was seriously fun to watch all the guys in our apartment complex come out and watch and get in on the action. I'm afraid this might be our new summer activity! But we will also try better to plan the next movie night and make sure the invite goes out to all!

Ok - so I LOVE So You Think You Can Dance! But I did not love it tonight mainly because I think Mia Micheals is the worst judge EVER! She seriously bugged me so bad! They just need to use her as a choreographer! I just thought you should all know this!

Jeff's Girlfriend Hannah. She would sit on his lap and feed him chips. She even had a nickname for him: Buco. So now my mom thinks we should be calling him Bucco di Jeffo!

I know that is a ticking time bomb before the majority of my friends move away, but does it really have to start happening!?!? We had a big beach/surf day for the Dixon's last weekend down in San O. The weather was perfect, the water was warm (for So Cal), hot dogs, chips, cold drinks, and Pedro's on our way home - it was a perfect day! As we were driving home I realized how good life really is! I love being at the beach ALL DAY and hanging with fun friends! Dixon's just remember you always have a place to stay in the manor when Utah gets too cold!

OK - Someone is going to have to teach me how to do a slide show! I have way too many fun pictures of all of us at the river over Memorial Day! I have attached a couple, but there are far too many good ones! I mean how am I supposed to post all of our America's Next Top Model Poses!?!?! What a fun weekend! Wakeboarding, tubing, WII Smarty Pants, Floating down the river, Fishing, and basking in the sun with a book! There was of course Dan's swim challenge which of course is a highlight by itself! Disneyland Birthday Fun! Rides and Guns!
Today is Jeff's birthday so we decided to head to Disneyland for the evening for some fun! One of the main reasons why I love Jeff is that he is the biggest kid at heart! Seriously there is no wonder why he loves hanging with the deacons and working in scouts. Tonight I asked him what he wanted to do at Disneyland for his birthday because when you have annual passes we have our routine down to a system and we know what we like, but tonight Jeff wanted to shoot the guns! Honestly - I didn't even know where the guns were, but Jeff did and we shot them. Jeff was excellent and I am a terrible shot! I seriously have the best time whenever I am with Jeff and I feel so spoiled that I got him all to myself tonight on his birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Oh yeah that's right - last night we danced it up with Ellen Degeneres! They say that good things come to those who wait and that's how I feel about Ellen. We may have waited FOREVER in lines, but it was so worth it when we got to sit front row! Lynnley and I were reliving the Alabama house days of the 8 count - could it get any better!?!? John Stamos was the guest - which by the way he is so skinny and not very big - and Bobby Flay was teaching how to make something. It was so fun! Why do we not take advantage of the whole Hollywood scene more often??? PS - the show we taped is going to air on Thursday May 15th - you should check it out! We were on the front row so Ellen totally danced right by us. By the way - I'm so afraid at how huge I am going to look - I probably didn't have the best outfit on for TV, but oh well I had fun! I just wanted to give a little shout out to my good friend Holly on her birthday! For those of you know Holly know that I am not exaggerating when I say she has to be one of the nicest and most considerate people that I know! And on top of that she is a super hot prego chick and always up for a good time. So it was only fitting that we had a bon fire on her birthday complete with hot dogs, s'mores, and 3 different kinds of dessert dutch ovens! Holly you are the best and I hope you had the best birthday ever!!! Are you really 5 years older than me??? Hmmm....that's weird!

Pride and Prejudice

Some of you might not know this about me, but I love Pride and Prejudice. Actually I love all the Jane Austen movies. The dvd player in our bedroom always has Pride and Prejudice in it and I swear I have watched it a million times. Poor Jeff is totally over Mr. Darcy but I don't care because I'm not plus I don't normally watch it if he is around! Why do I love the Angels the way I do! I can't even begin to express how excited I was to go to my first Big Bang Friday of the season! For those of you who don't know - after Friday home games they do a huge firework show and they call it Big Bang Friday! The boys of summer are back and I'm excited! Although it didn't quite feel like summer yet - Marc and Emily went to get hot chocolate and I was grateful that my sweatshirt had a hoodie - it got COLD! But it was a super good game and the firework show was set to disco music! I LOVE THE ANGELS AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE GAMES!!!

Last night for our monthly "What's Cooking" group we learned how to decorate a cake using fondant. It was so much fun and it was a girls night that I definitely needed! But anyone who knows me knows I'm not the most creative person. I can follow a picture or copy and idea, but to come up with my own is beyond me! So I was doing some lattice work on my cake and had no idea where to go from there and then Jen Schuman came up with the best idea to do a "FATTY BOW" - GENIUS!!! We got laughing so hard as we were making the loops to the bow! My friend Melody who was teaching the class told me on Sunday that I reminder her of a Disneyland princess so when she saw this bow she said it reminder her of something from Disneyland and that it was fitting. I don't really get the whole princess thing, but as long as she isn't referencing Princess Fiona from Shrek - I think I will be ok with it. :) Thanks Melody and everyone who planned last night!!! I had so much fun and my hand are stilled dyed with awesome pink and yellow!

OK - So I know it has been forever and a day since I have posted anything, but I didn't have my camera with me on St. Patricks day or Easter. BUT I DID HAVE IT FOR THE BON JOVI CONCERT!!! Last night we rocked out to Bon Jovi! 7 of us girls piled into the minivan for the time of our lives! It was so much fun and we all sang as loud as we could! The highlight for me was when a song would start Michelle and Kristen would start jumping up and down with pure excitement. It was almost more fun just to watch them! Chris Daughtry opened for Bon Jovi and although I am not an American Idol person he was SO good live! He even came out and sang Blaze of Glory with Bon Jovi - which happens to be one of my favorite BJ songs! It was such a fun night out with the girls topped off with McDonalds ice cream at the end! THANKS AMBER FOR ORGANIZING!!! Can't wait for our next concert experience! :)

It's seriously is the best to be able to work with the youth. And it's even better because Jeff and I both get to work with them so it's even more fun when we have weekend long activities! Plus - I feel like I'm a youth without having to worry about the awkwardness and worry of being a youth - IT'S THE BEST! But this last weekend we had our ward youth conference and it was so much fun! We were supposed to go camping but it was raining. So instead we did beach bonfire, slumber party (which involved lots of toilet paper, water balloons, guitar hero, and M&M's), good devotionals, car dancing, and the tide pools. Our theme was putting on the whole armour of God. I swear I get way more out of it then all the youth, but my testimony is always strengthened and I always come away with the most amazing perspective on life. Oh and it helps that we have the worlds most fun and awesome youth!

Ok - I know they are not my kids but I love this picture of my nephews! We spent Presidents Day at the beach and although all of us adults were cold the boys stayed perfectly warm in there new wetsuits and it was so much fun! Plus I love that they give me an excuse to break away from work and go to the beach!

I thought I would use Valentines Day as a good reason to create a new post! Sorry for the month long of no updates! Let's just say that so far 08 has a been a little rough, but the tides are turning and I'm sure they are only going to get better. Like many I have caught whatever this terrible cold/flu thing is that is going around and it has put me out of commission! But I did not want to use that as an excuse to not post that I love all of my friends! I hope you all have a fun filled LOVE DAY! Hopefully we will have some fun things to post soon! Maybe I will need to create some photo ops!

Today reminded me, not like I really needed the reminder, of why I love Huntington Beach! It was an amazing warm summer day in January! After church we decided that we needed to take full advantage so we packed up some lunch and rode our bikes to the beach with the Dixon's. It was so beautiful although it was scary to see if I could still fit into summer capri's after holiday eating. It was a very good reminder that summer is around the corner and I am no where near being ready for swim suits! :)

Here are a couple pics from Christmas day! I love KCAL 9 who on Christmas morning has a yule log image on the tv and plays Christmas music. You can see it in the pic of me Christmas morning. We turn it on every Christmas and open our presents to the sound of the fire place and music! It's hilarious! Then after over eating and over sleeping we took a walk on the pier and enjoyed being in California and not in a snow storm somewhere! Oh yeah - and Jeff TOTALLY surprised me with the Cannon Rebel I have been wanting! It's rad!

I can't believe another year has come and gone! What a great amazing Christmas this was! We got to go to Saint George to visit with Jeff's parents and grandparents and then back to spend Christmas Eve with my family! We have a very fun German tradition of finding the pickle ornament on the tree and with my family it gets very intense on who wins. In years past there has been pushing, cheating, and tackling of the person who finds it - all that aside - it is so fun. We have been doing this for who knows how many years and I have never won - UNTIL THIS YEAR!!! I found it and quietly stepped away from the tree before celebrating to avoid the mishaps of previous years! Santa found his way to my parents house and we caught him! :) It was such a fun Christmas and it is always so great to get together with family and friends and remember the true meaning of Christmas.

This last year our Dinner group has been a saving grace for me! It has been so nice only cooking once a week and then having dinners show up at my house the other nights! I have loved everyones recipes and trying dishes that I would never attempt to make! This last week for my dinner night I had the dinner group over at my parents house for a Christmas dinner! It was so fun getting to actually hang out with everyone rather than the quick knock and drop off! :) THANK YOU DINNER GROUP! I don't know what I will do with myself when we stop doing this! I guess Wahoos and Fiesta will start calling us by our first name again! :)

To keep with the Draeger tradition we went to see Santa at Fashion Island because that is where the real Santa is! It is always a fun tradition and my dad thinks we have been doing it has a family for about 18 years so we have it down to a system. This year however Santa's elf was less than nice. There was a new rule that you can only take one picture with your personal camera and she was making sure that everyone followed the rule. When my whole family got gathered around Santa we had our friends Dawn and Brian take our 1 picture. Well I guess that Dawn took one with her camera and Brian took one with my Camera and the elf was NOT happy. She told Dawn and Brian that they now didn't get a picture for their family because they took 2 and then she pushed Dawn outside of the door! She was CRAZY! Luckily Santa was amazing and we all got great pictures with Santa and Dawn and Brian were still able to take 1 with their camera! After we enjoyed the food court where we draw names to see who we are partners with! Another fun year! Thanks Lombardi's for dealing with the mean elf - she will get coal in her stocking for sure! (PS - Jeff had a work meeting that night. We had one picture of us in front of Santa's village before he had to leave, but I looked 300+ lbs in it so it does not get posted! I just didn't want people thinking there was trouble in paradise! :) )

A must around the holidays is the Newport Beach Boat parade. We were lucky enough to watch it this year from our friends AMAZING boat. The night was complete with good friends, good music, and of course hot chocolate! :) Although about half way through the night I realized I hadn't seen Jeff for a really long time. So I went down below to find him and all the kids on the boat playing Wii. I love the picture of Jeff above celebrating his victory over his new friend. Maybe after all the Christmas craze we will have to get us a Wii. But thanks again to the Yakety Yak boat and to all of our good friends!

I have lots of traditions for my birthday! Every year we go to Knotts Berry Farm on my birthday. I look forward to it every year and love ending the day on The Ghost Rider! Plus I think I'm the only person who gets funnel cakes as their birthday cake, but how can you not when you are at Knotts! It was freezing this year, but we had so much fun! Dad even went on the Accelerator and mom was a champ walking through the park after knee surgery. It is also a tradition that we get our Christmas tree on my birthday! I LOVE IT! A BIG THANKS to everyone who always makes my birthday special! And in case you were wondering - yes - I really am 25 again!

Stella Rae Draeger is the first girl on the Draeger side! She weighed in at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long. We are so glad that she is finally here!

Halloween

This year was crazy! Jeff and I have been so busy with work that we really didn't have a ton of time to commit to our costumes. But Jeff did come up with a great idea to make a transformer costume. Although some of his calculations were off he still looked fantastic! I didn't have time to even attempt to create a costume so on way home from work I picked up a box and I transformed into the star cube. Which if you didn't see the movie - the star cube is what they are trying to protect. I do love Jeff for getting into the homemade costumes! He is hilarious!

BYU Soccer - YOU ROCK # 9!

My sister, Amanda, is basically a rock star! BYU soccer won the Mountain West Conference Tournament this year and went to the NCAA play offs. As her sister I would like to think it is all due to her amazing defense! :) She seriously rocked this year and we (as the original entourage) had so much fun going to games and following her in the paper. These pictures are just from of a couple of games we were able to make it to. But just to reiterate - YOU ROCK # 9! GO DRAEG MACHINE!!!!

My mom and my sisters have created a tradition that we call our "Girl-cation!" It's so fun to get away with just the girls! We have normally done it around Amanda's soccer schedule so we can see some games and hang out so we were in Provo this year. We went to three of Amanda's games and even caught a BYU football game! Nothing quite like re-living the glory days. The tops of the mountains got snow and I was a bit bitter about the cold and the rain! But we always have fun and I love just laughing with mom and the sisters!

TRIATHALON

Jeff competed in his first sprint triathalon in Arrowhead. As Elders Quorum President he thought it would be an excellent bonding experience. About 7 guys competed and completed! I'm not going to lie - all of us wives were a bit concerned! It was so inspiring to watch and I'm so impressed by anyone who would pay to do this. It was even more fun to watch because Jeff and our good friend Dan were sprinting it in neck and neck! According to the race postings Jeff beat Dan by .01 of a second! :) A victory is a victory! :) Good Job Babe!

1 Year Anniversary in Puerto Rico

Ok - So I realize that I am a little bit late to this blog thing and I have no idea where to start so I decided to recap our 2 years together(Our anniversary is in June so I guess I should say our 2.5 years together)! Well, at least our fun anniversary vacations! I love traveling with Jeff and I have sort of made it known that each year we need a trip! We are thinking possibly Belize Mexico for our 3rd anniversary! I guess we will see! But for our 2nd Year we went to Rome, Florence, and Venice. As you can see it rained the entire time! We still had a great time and I absolutely fell in love with Rome and Sienna. It was fun doing Europe, but we both agreed that we are more the beach and adventure type of vacationers! If you guys have any other must have destinations that you love please let us know!
